Explosives, firearms found in convicted felon’s car: PD

(KRON) – Explosives and various weapons were found in a convicted felon’s vehicle, according to the Vallejo Police Department.

On Feb. 2, Vallejo police officers pulled over a 2022 Dodge Charger with no license plates near Highway 80 and Tennessee Street.

The driver of the Dodge gave the officers a valid California driver's license. However, it revealed he had a no-bail felony warrant for a probation violation related to a weapons offense from Contra Costa County. Police also discovered the suspect is a convicted felon whose probation terms prohibit him from possessing firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives or body armor.
