LIDL shoppers are in for a treat as the bargain store has launched a £2.99 Jellycat dupe.

The popular croissant plush toy will be available for the first time in just days.

For just £2.99, fans of the ‘softest stuffed toys’ could nab the supermarket dupe’s broccoli, donut, pretzel or strawberry.

Each one even boasts a name and fun facts.

The cute range of food-shaped toys offers a budget friendly alternative to Jellycat products.

As a big brand name, the prices for the latest Valentines collection start from £15 and run up to £45.

The viral amuseables croissant was on offer for £25 before it sold out.

Compared to the latest discounted deal, that’s a remarkable 88 per cent saving.

Lidl’s products have all been decorated with smiling character faces too.

The latest range is set to hit stores from February 16 but those wanting to nab something sooner could head online where some of the Softlings Fast Food Soft Toys are available.

Unlike the bargaining giant, shoppers hoping to grab a plush cuddly design online may have to pick a more expensive option with single items not available to purchase.

It comes as British toy company, Jellycats, swept the internet by storm with people paying hundreds of pounds for just one.

Multiple social media creators have posted hauls from the store with thousands of posts under the relevant hashtag on TikTok and Instagram.

Its line of “vivacious” vegetable toys were endorsed by Kylie Jenner back in 2020.

Lidl has previously stocked the dupes before with many posting videos on social media saying “run, don’t walk”.

Another user took pictures of the baked goods toys after placing them in paper bags from the store.

One person commented: “It’s giving fake jelly cats.”

Someone else wrote: “Looks like taking a trip my son has pretty much all of them but didn’t know they did bakery ones but I need that broccoli.”

Another put: “I’ll get them when I have my nails done.”

A fourth said: “Oh my god stopppp.”

Someone else wrote: “Omg that’s so cute.”
