The Kansas City Chiefs won’t have an easy time attacking the Philadelphia Eagles’ outstanding defense in Super Bowl LIX, despite their outstanding accomplishments throughout the 2024 season.
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and fan-favorite tight end Travis Kelce won’t be able to lead Kansas City’s offense to a win on their own, so the contributions of the Chiefs’ more underrated players will be crucial to the team’s success against Philadelphia.
Though Kansas City’s roster has far more Super Bowl experience than the Eagles’, the Chiefs won’t be able to bring a timid approach in their offensive game plan if they intend to become the first team in NFL history to be crowned back-to-back-to-back champions.
At the same time, Kansas City can’t afford to bring an overly aggressive strategy into the game, lest the Chiefs try too hard to push the ball downfield and commit turnovers that put them on their back foot.
