The Arvada Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 100th birthday with a special present: a new name. Now called the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce, officials said the rebrand reflects the chamber’s adaption to the city’s growth and its commitment to serving local nonprofit and business needs.

Examples include using funds from Harvest Festival in 1935 to provide unemployment relief and launching its “Man and Woman of the Year” award program in the 1950s.
The organization’s president, Kami Welch, said in a press release the name change reflects its commitment to “embracing innovation, collaboration, and inclusion to solve business challenges across Arvada and the surrounding region.”
