ANDY Reid made a business move just days before being part of the upcoming Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs‘ three-time Super Bowl-winning head coach has earned a TV spot during the big game on Sunday.
Reid and the Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday.
But TV viewers will get to see the 66-year-old on the sidelines, and also in a cameo role for a commercial.
Thanks to his mustache, Reid will be among numerous celebrities as part of a Pringles Super Bowl commercial.
The chips company, known for its legendary mustached mascot, also known as Mr. P, will have Reid and big-names Adam Brody, NBA star James Harden, and Nick Offerman as part of the 30-second ad.
Of that group, Reid, Offerman, and Harden’s mustaches fly to help bring Pringles for a party in need of a snack restock.
Reid can be seen at a press conference when his iconic mustache stunningly flies to help out Brody, who calls out for help when a party runs out of Pringles.
The Pringle commercial will air at the end of the second quarter of the Super Bowl on Fox.
The TV spot was created by FCB New York.
“We at FCB were incredibly fortunate to have our cameras ready to capture that heroic, magical migration for the world to witness and delight in—and laugh at,” Michael Aimette, FCB New York’s chief creative officer, said in a statement.
Pringles will be airing a commercial for the eighth consecutive Super Bowl.
The company has had a theme of focusing on mustaches.
During last year’s big game, Pringles played around with the idea that actor Chris Pratt looked like Mr. P.
It only makes sense for the company to have Reid, who’s been a head coach of a Super Bowl in five of the last six seasons, to be part of this year’s ad campaign.
Reid has plenty of experience in starring in commercials.
He has appeared in advertisements which include Snickers and State Farm.
Reid has even starred alongside his superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the latter company’s commercials.
The Chiefs will now look to make NFL history as the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
This year’s big game will be a rematch of Super Bowl 57 when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35.
