AN IMPORTANT Kansas City Chiefs playmaker for Patrick Mahomes received heartwarming support ahead of Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.

The Travis Kelce teammate got a Super Bowl sendoff from his neighbors before the big game against the Philadelphia Eagles which takes place this Sunday.

    Over the weekend, Chiefs players flew to The Big Easy after meeting at Kansas City International Airport.

    Before leaving his home, Kansas City backup tight end Noah Gray was given a special farewell by his neighbors.

    A video on X revealed that Noah got a sendoff from his neighbor in Olathe, Kansas.

    The clip showed residents lined up on the streets and holding signs while cheering for the 25-year-old as he worked his way to the airport.

    Police also escorted the four-year player Gray.

    Social media users were impressed with the support sent to the Duke product.

    “How cool!” one wrote.

    “Love watching these sendoffs,” another commented.

    “Small markets with NFL teams are just special,” a third added.

    A neighbor of Gray’s spoke about the town and the respect they have for the two-time Super Bowl champion.

    “It’s a great neighborhood,” the Chiefs fan said.

    “Everybody supports each other, and it stands to reason that we have a Chief living here.

    “We support him.”

    Gray wasn’t the only Chiefs player to get a sendoff.

    Wide receivers Juju Smith-Shuster and Marquise Brown revealed videos on social media of their respective farewells from their neighbors.

    The latter player also appeared to have an escort from law enforcement.

    The Chiefs are eyeing the NFL’s first-ever three-peat.

    Gray has been along for the ride since he’s been a Kansas City 2021 fifth-round pick.

    This season, he recorded a career-high 40 receptions, 437 receiving yards, and five touchdowns.
