Resurrection Christian 68, Forge Christian 58, in Loveland: Forge Christian put up a noble effort, but an undefeated Resurrection Christian team was just too much. After leading by just six points heading into halftime, Resurrection Christian (15-0) stretched the lead to 13 heading into the fourth and the Fury couldn’t muster a comeback.
Union Colony 62, Fleming 40, in Fleming: The Timberwolves snapped a four-game losing streak an moved their record back above .500 at 8-7 with the non-conference win. Union Colony has four Class 2A Mile High League games to close out their schedule.
Valley 68, Eagle Ridge Academy 52, in Gilcrest: The Vikings scored early and often in a convincing win over Eagle Ridge. Valley (4-11) led by 28 points heading into the final frame before Eagle Ridge narrowed the gap in the fourth.
Dayspring Christian 56, Kiowa 33, in Greeley: The Eagles fifth win of the season was never in doubt. Dayspring Christian (5-10) took a 15-point lead into halftime before expanding on it in the second half.
Denver Academy 59, Briggsdale 47, in Denver: The Falcons fell behind early and were never able to recover in the non-conference loss. The loss marked Briggsdale’s third in a row, falling to 4-8 on the season.
Girls basketball
Resurrection Christian 54, Forge Christian 25, in Loveland: The Cougars rode the momentum of a 22-2 second quarter to cruise to an easy non-conference win. Resurrection Christian moved to 14-1 with the win.
Windsor 53, Lutheran 29, in Windsor: The Wizards (13-4) won their eighth-straight behind a stifling defensive effort. Lutheran was not able to eclipse double digit points in three of four quarters.

Dayspring Christian (7-8) tied the first and last period, but outscored Kiowa by 12 in the middle two.
Highland 62, Wray 32, in Wray: The Huskies stayed unbeaten in Class 3A Patriot League play with a 30-point win over the Eagles. Highland moves to 5-0 in League play, 9-5 overall.
Heritage Christian 45, Briggsdale 43, in Fort Collins: A loss to Heritage Christian snapped the Falcon’s seven-game win streak. The 45 points Briggsdale (9-2) allowed was the highest the team had given up since before Christmas, when they allowed 48 points in a win over Cheyenne Wells.
Boys wrestling
Dayspring Christian finishes fifth at Valley Classic Tournament, in Center: The Eagles brought home a fifth-place finish at a loaded Valley Classic, scoring 119 team points. Liam DeBoer was Dayspring’s lone winner, topping the 126-pound bracket with a pin in the championship match. Micah Everhart (113), Logan Clark (150) and Wyatt Cross (190) all brought home bronze for the Eagles.
