This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Michael Harris.
Harris the father of a student at Estes Hills who has given his expertise and time into fixing up the school’s garden spaces. Harris has used the years of experience he has tending to historical gardens for the British government to improve the look of Estes Hill’s campus. He has studied the drainage of the garden beds, carefully picked out different flowers, and has even added new garden beds. His work has gotten Estes Hill’s attention all across the district for its improvement and how welcoming the campus looks.
