Ambers accepts invitation to Canadian Football League Combine – MyParisTexas

Former East Texas A&M University football defensive back King Ambers has accepted an invitation to take part in the Canadian Football League (CFL) Combine.

Ambers, a native of Pickering, Ontario, will take part in the CFL Combine in Regina, Saskatchewan, on March 21-23.

He looks to join a long list of former Lions that have played in the CFL, including Celestin Haba and Jalon Edwards-Cooper, who are both currently on CFL rosters. Haba is a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Edwards-Cooper is on the BC Lions roster.

In his four-year Lion career, Ambers appeared in 37 games, recording 59 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and seven pass deflections. Ambers will be eligible for the CFL Draft, which will take place later this spring.
