News PressBee .. Parade Watch the post from Martha Stewart Jokes About Football Being a 'Giant Conspiracy' in Super Bowl Ad: 'Snitches Get Stitches' , Now to the details
Martha Stewart is poking fun at her time behind bars and the media circus that surrounded her trial in a new commercial.
The lifestyle guru who, beginning in October 2004, served five months in prison after being convicted of conspiracy, obstruction, and lying to federal authorities concerning a securities fraud case, hinted at that stage of her life in teasers for an Uber Eats ad that will air during Super Bowl LIX.

In the first spot, which was posted online on Jan. 27, Stewart stood in a kitchen and spoke to the camera as she said that “this year, the Super Bowl is being played in a stadium named after a salad,” referencing the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
“Coincidentally, I’m selling my super Caesar salad on Uber Eats,” she continued before asking, “is football a giant conspiracy invented to make you hungry?”
As she placed a lid on the salad bowl, which was shaped like the football arena, she said seriously, “I’ll never tell, because snitches get stitches.”
Another promo video dropped three days later, this time with fellow Uber Eats spokesperson Matthew McConaughey. In it, the Dallas Buyers Club star approached Stewart in the same kitchen to ask her about the salad.
He then started hinting that perhaps the “super” part of her Caesar salad, being placed in a bowl, was a not-so-subtle hint towards the big game. “I know what you’re up to, this is a ‘super bowl,’” he said.
Stewart parried back, asking what he was talking about and chopping lettuce furiously as he explained, “well the Super Bowl’s at Caesars to help you sell your Caesars during the Super Bowl, is it not?”
“I just want to focus on my salad,” she said, referring to a 2002 television appearance in which she was asked about her ongoing legal case while she was ostensibly on the show to teach viewers how to make a salad.
At the time, she said she was not at liberty to comment on the case, shutting down the conversation by saying, “I want to focus on my salad because that’s why we’re here.”
While Uber Eats customers will be able to order Stewart’s Caesar salad on the food delivery app, it will only be available until Feb. 20 in select cities, including New York City, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Houston, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville, Fla.
