Each player had to make three one-handed catches, then make one catch with mascot gloves on and then attempt a diving catch. If the diving catch could not be completed, the player then had to run through an agility course.

The team with the lowest combined time won the minigame and collected three points for their conference.

McBride made three one-handed catches after only four attempts, he caught his second target with the mascot gloves on, came up just short on the diving catch, but quickly composed himself to complete the agility course.

The NFC team went first and recorded a time of 1:57 while the AFC team later posted a time of 2:06 that was not enough to claim the victory.

McBride earned his first Pro Bowl selection after tallying 111 catches for 1,146 yards and two receiving touchdowns. He also scored on the ground and on a fumble recovery.
