Winmau World Masters Darts 2025 – schedule, prize money and how to watch

Fresh from victory in Bahrain, Stephen Bunting is about to defend another title as the Winmau World Masters Darts 2025 tournament gets under way in Buckinghamshire.

The 2024 champion, who was crowned the Bahrain Darts Masters champion 2025 earlier this month, will face some of the world’s best players including Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen in this latest tournament.

    It is the 13th Masters to be organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and the first under the World Masters brand.

    And it promises to be a tightly-fought event as it is now a full-ranking tournament, counting towards players’ world rankings and order of merit.

    The World Darts Masters is being held at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes from Wednesday 29 January to Sunday 2 February.

    Wednesday saw the preliminary round in which 126 players competed for eight places in the first round along with the top 24 ranked players in the world.

    ITV has exclusive television rights to show the event live and this will be available on ITV4.

    Fans will also be able to stream it live or on catch-up on ITVX.

    How much prize money is on offer?

    There is a total prize fund of £500,000 on offer for the Winmau World Masters 2025.

    All 32 participants in the main tournament are guaranteed £5,000 in prize money and the winner will walk away with £100,000.
