SHERIFF’S REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:

ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION: Reginald L. Azbill, 41, of Covelo, was booked at county jail Jan. 23 on suspicion of illegally possessing ammunition, resisting, possessing a controlled substance and driving without a license. He was arrested by the MCSO.

    DUI: Agustin Balandran, 34, of Cloverdale, was booked at county jail Jan. 23 on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was arrested by the MCSO.

    DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Joell O. Beck, 30, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail Jan. 23. on suspicion of domestic violence and vandalism. She was arrested by the Fort Bragg Police Department.

    POSSESSION OF AN ASSAULT WEAPON: Melissa F. Crow, 37, of Willits, was booked at county jail Jan. 23 on suspicion of possessing an assault weapon and violating her probation. She was arrested by the MCSO.

    POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Baraquiel S. Ruiz, 38, of Lakeport, was booked at county jail Jan. 23 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance with two or more priors, possession of drug paraphernalia and defrauding an innkeeper. He was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.

    DUI: Erik M. Hileman, 44, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail Jan. 24 on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol.

    ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: Lawrence A.J. Marsh, 50, of Covelo, was booked at county jail Jan. 24 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and abuse of an elder/dependent adult. He was arrested by the MCSO.

    DUI: Odessa C. O’Neil, 50, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 24 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. She was arrested by the CHP.

    DUI: Paul J. Caid, 58, of Napa, was booked at county jail Jan. 25 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and driving with a suspended license. He was arrested by the CHP.

    THEFT: Jason L. Miller, 43, of Redding, was booked at county jail Jan. 25 on suspicion of petty theft with two or more priors and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested by the Willits Police Department.

    FORGING VEHICLE REGISTRATION: Robert D. Moreno, 44, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 25 on suspicion of forging/altering a vehicle’s registration, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating his probation. He was arrested by the UPD.

    DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Kenneth A.D. Peterson, 38, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 25 on suspicion of domestic violence and of violating a DV court order. He was arrested by the CHP.

    DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Julie D. Ratliff, 57, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 25 on suspicion of domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon  and violating her probation, She was arrested by the UPD.

    ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION: Greg D. Burnett, 54, of Kelseyville, was booked at county jail Jan. 26 on suspicion of illegally possessing ammunition, illegally carrying a firearm, possessing a controlled substance and violating his probation. He was arrested by the UPD.

    DUI: Ernesto Ventura Enrriquez, 29, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 26 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.

    DUI: Anthony E. Wilson, 47, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 26 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the MCSO.

    Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper.
