In the divisional round, the Eagles downed the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 while the Commanders had a monstrous upset over the Detroit Lions, 45-31.
The Eagles and Commanders are both in the NFC East and have played twice this season. They’re 1-1 against eachother with the home team winning each game.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders predictions
Betting against the Commanders seems sacrilegious at the moment, but I’d take the Eagles in this spot.
As mentioned, these teams are 1-1 against each other. The Eagles lost in Week 16 at Washington 36-33.
However, in that game, the Eagles lost quarterback Jalen Hurts in the first quarter to a concussion.
In relief, Kenny Pickett had an interception and a fumble, averaging just six yards per attempt.
When examining this game, the Commanders run defense will be their Achilles heel.
They’re allowing 151 rushing yards per game through the postseason. They ranked 30th in yards allowed at more than 130 in the regular season.
Eagles running back Saquon Barkley ran for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns against the Commanders through their two bouts.
I expect the duo of Hurts and Barkley to do exceedingly well here. They’ll keep the Commanders off the field and control the game.

My bet for this game is the Eagles -6.
In the regular season, both teams were among the top three in passing yards allowed per game, but the Commanders were noticeably worse against the run.
If not for how poorly Pickett played and Hurts’s injury, I wonder what the final score would’ve been.
