DENVER (KDVR) -- The Denver Police Department told FOX31 that it is responding to a reported explosion at a fast food restaurant in Denver on Thursday night.
The police department said officers responded to the Wendy's located near 6th Avenue and Sherman Street. Police said the explosion happened near the drive-through.
The FOX31 building is just across Speer Boulevard from the restaurant. The newsroom noticed a loud noise and felt the building shake just after 10 p.m.
The police department said the call came in around 10:10 p.m. and it was unknown if there were any injuries.
There was a large police presence in the area and fire crews were also on the scene.
Police shut down 6th Avenue in the area.
