LIV Golf has made a major schedule change in an attempt to attract larger audiences.

It comes just days after the Saudi Arabia-funded golf league agreed a new broadcast deal with Fox.

Fox recently announced a multi-year deal to show the breakaway league featuring the likes of Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson.

The moves comes as talks of a resolution between Liv and the PGA Tour seems to have hit a roadblock.

Liv is entering it’s fourth season and previously had a rights deal with The CW.

But now with Fox on board, the golf league looking to appeal to larger audiences in the United States.

The season opening tournament in Saudi Arabia next month will be played under floodlights.

The event in Riyadh will start at 6.15 pm local time, which is 10.15 am ET.

And Golf Digest reporter Joel Beall thinks there could be more night events across the Liv calendar to make it more favorable for the US time zone.

The event in Riyadh will take place from February 6 to 8.

Fox is also showing the Super Bowl live that weekend on Sunday 9 February.

Liv has 14 events on the 2025 calendar, concluding with the team championship in Michigan from August 22 to 24.

The season finale will be one of six events in the United States.

While other stops on the tour include the UK, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Korea and Hong Kong.

“We are thrilled to partner with FOX Sports, one of the preeminent broadcast networks in the world,” Liv Golf CEO Scott O’Neil said.

“LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder, and this relationship signals the next phase of growth as our League joins the company of the nation’s premier sports leagues and conferences.

“I want to thank the FOX Sports team who share our vision for the future of golf, a new model that is redefining how the sport is experienced.

“LIV Golf is drawing a younger, more active and tech-savvy fan base, and as our players and teams prepare for LIV Golf’s biggest season yet, this agreement will take our broadcast to new heights.”

Liv’s season will begin while the new Tomorrow’s Golf League is underway.

The prime time event is shown on ESPN every week and backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

It features six teams of golfers and takes place in an arena in Florida, using driving range technology.

The league began earlier in January with the finals set to take place in March.
