DONALD Trump’s beloved granddaughter Kai, 17, showed her confidence by rocking a gorgeous silver gown at the inaugural ball.
A fashion expert spotted a key detail in the dress that proves she has what it takes to carry on the Make America Great Again movement, just like her predecessors, Ivanka and Melania.
On Monday evening, the Trump family ended the day’s festivities by stopping by the Liberty Ball in Washington DC for a night of dancing.
First Lady Melania, 54, stunned in a bold black-and-white dress designed by Hervé Pierre, her personal stylist of eight years.
She was joined by her husband, who held her close in a black tux as they enjoyed the first dance of their second term.
Meanwhile, Ivanka, who won’t be in her dad’s administration this time around, looked gorgeous in an Audrey Hepburn-inspired white ball gown with elegant black embroidery.
The flowing dress was a recreation of a 1954 Givenchy gown made for Hepburn’s movie Sabrina.
However, stealing the limelight was Kai, who rocked a flashy silver dress made by American designer Sherri Hill.
Kai, the daughter of Don Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa, has gained a massive following among the MAGA base for her rally appearances and esteemed golf career.
She’s Trump’s eldest grandchild and represents the next generation of the political dynasty.
In an exclusive conversation with The U.S. Sun, Amanda Sanders, a celebrity stylist who has worked with Chris Rock and Jennifer Coolidge, said it took a lot of confidence for Kai to rock a high slit and dress with cutouts.
“She’s comfortable in her own skin,” said Sanders, a renowned image consultant.
“She’s not new to the media. There’s an air of confidence.”
Sanders said the look was “age-appropriate” but stood out for not being as mature as some of the other gowns.
“It is the right dress, it’s just not the right forum,” said the stylist.
The consultant felt that Kai could have benefitted from a more regal look but was still left impressed by her sureness as she grew up in the limelight.
