CFP final viewers spot Riley Leonard’s ‘disgusting’ act on sidelines just seconds into Ohio State-Notre Dame

NOTRE Dame quarterback Riley Leonard left it all on the field during his loss to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes took home a 34-23 win over the Fighting Irish in the national championship game.

    Riley Leonard was left beat up during the national championship game Leonard was seen throwing up on the sidelines during the game

    Leonard fought hard during the loss, but it wasn’t enough to get Notre Dame over the hump.

    In fact, he fought so hard that he made himself sick during the game.

    During a drive, Leonard could be seen stumbling off the field to the sideline to get some attention.

    While he was getting attended to, he threw up before going to the bench.

    He was able to return to the game after throwing up, but he couldn’t elevate Notre Dame to a win.

    Despite the loss, college football fans were impressed with Leonard’s toughness and shared their compliments for him on social media.

    “Riley Leonard was so tired after that drive that he puked. Lol That’s national championship level stuff,” one fan said.

    “Puke and rally, Riley. Get back out there,” another fan said.

    “BLOOD SWEAT TEARS!” a third fan said.

    “Riley Leonard has a potential legacy game on his hands,” a fourth fan said.

    “This kid is going to leave it all on the field tonight,” a fifth fan said.

    Leonard gave it his all during the game, having a statistically solid night despite the loss.

    He passed for 255 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for another 40 yards and a touchdown.

    Unfortunately for Notre Dame, Leonard was the team’s only effective rusher which partially led to the loss.

    Despite the good numbers, Leonard wasn’t happy with his play.

    After the game, he pointed out his performance in the second quarter, calling it “unacceptable.”

    Head coach Marcus Freeman didn’t agree though, saying he saw success from his team.

    “We didn’t get it done, and it hurts,” Irish coach Marcus Freeman said.

    “My job is to figure out why, and I will. But I told these guys, they’ve left this program better.

    “I don’t care if you were here for one year or you’ve been here for six years, our program is in a better place.

    “The outlook of Notre Dame football is extremely high. As long as the people in that locker room that come back understand what it takes, the work these guys have put in, there’s a lot of success in our future.”
