Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff led TV Land’s Younger for all seven seasons before its cancellation in 2021.
Pamela Redmond Satran’s novel of the same name, follows 40-year-old Liza (Foster) as she tries to re-enter the workforce after her divorce. In order to secure a job at publishing house Empirical, Liza pretends to be 26 all while fooling her bosses, coworkers and potential love interests.
Darren Star exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2021 of the series finale. “There’s sort of, like, twists and turns in the final episode, which is an hour-long episode, until the very last moment. The show doesn’t really, let’s say, stick the landing until that very last scene. It’s a fun season, and I hope it’s going to leave the audience happy and satisfied at the end.”
