Patrick Mahomes versus Josh Allen Part IV.
They say the sequel is never as good as the original, but what about the fourth installment?
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills took down Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens 27-25 in the divisional round on a frigid night at Highmark Stadium, setting up another giant Bills-Chiefs tilt.
Or more specifically, another Allen-Mahomes postseason duel.
And if the fourth time around is anything like the first three, then we are all in for a treat.
It is the fourth meeting in the postseason in five years between the two all-worldly quarterbacks.
Mahomes is 3-0 against Allen.
In 2020, the Chiefs defeated the Bills in the AFC championship 38-24.
In 2021, the Chiefs defeated the Bills in the famous ’13 seconds’ game in the divisional round 42-36 in overtime.
In 2023, the Chiefs once again defeated the Bills in the divisional round 27-24.
The first two took place in Kansas City, while last season the game was played in Buffalo.
Next week, it’s back in Kansas City.

The Bills gave the Chiefs their first loss of the season back in Week 11, when Allen led Buffalo to a 30-21 win over Mahomes.
After the game, the cameras caught Mahomes telling Allen at midfield that they will see each other again.
“We’ll do it again,” Mahomes said.
Mahomes was right.
That they will.
And something tells me, it will be another instant classic.
