    Weather tonight: Light snow

Light snow returns to the region overnight as well as another cold front. About 1 to 2 inches of accumulation is expected for most areas.

Lows will again fall below zero with wind chills as low as minus 20 degrees.

    Weather tomorrow: Final frigid day

Snow should end during the morning rush on Monday.

Temperatures will bottom out in the afternoon when highs only reach the single digits in most areas with a very cold wind chill. The skies will gradually clear in the afternoon.

Looking ahead: Finally warming above freezing

After Monday, there will be one more frigid night. Temperatures will be as low as minus 10 degrees in the plains and near metro Denver, but should actually start to rise after midnight. The high country can expect even colder temperatures.

However, Tuesday afternoon will provide Denver with a break, finally breaking freezing after days under 32 degrees.
