DUBLIN – Prosecutors on Friday announced charges against a 21-year-old man accused of carjacking a woman in Fremont and then using her vehicle to run her over.

If convicted of the charges, Green faces up to 22 years and eight months in state prison.
The alleged crime happened on Nov. 8, 2024. Prosecutors said Green used “force and fear” to take the victim’s vehicle and ran her over with it, injuring her in the process.
Green was either on probation, mandatory supervision, post-release community supervision or parole when the alleged crime happened, according to the district attorney’s office.
Green was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at the East Hall County of Justice in Dublin.
