TRAVIS KELCE has made a clear statement over his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs superstar has been dating the pop sensation since July 2023.
There has been criticism of him ever since, mostly down to a huge dip in his playing form.
The 35-year-old had a dreadful start to the 2024-25 NFL season.
He turned things around towards the end, helping his team to a 15-2 regular season record.
Critics claimed the poor form was down to attending her international Eras Tour concerts.
The tight end went onto the Stephen A. Smith Show this week.
He addressed the backlash, revealing why he wanted to be their to support Bad Blood singer Swift.
“You have to be true to yourself,” he said.
“People are saying things and you’ve got to be able to reflect and look at yourself and see.
“‘Why are they saying these things?’
“I was still playing at a high level knowing all that.
“We were winning football games, which is all I ever care about.
“On top of that, this building knew how hard I worked and how much focus I have on football throughout the year.”
The Chiefs take on the Houston Texans this weekend in the NFL playoffs.
The two rivals will face off at Arrowhead Stadium in the Divisional Round at 4.30pm ET on Saturday.

A win will take them to the Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens or Buffalo Bills.
And victory there will send them to the Super Bowl.
There they will be fighting for a historic third ring in a row.
That has never been achieved in league history.
“I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week-in-week-out for this team,” Kelce added.
“It’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field.
“I think, personally, the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft.
“Focus on being the best version of you.
“That’s why I wanted to be at her concerts supporting her and being there for her.
“Making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she’s doing in life.”
