It was during the Friday, Jan. 17 episode of Today with Jenna & Friends when Bush Hager was chatting with guest host Taraji P. Henson that she admitted, "My dad embarrasses me I have to be honest."
"And sometimes, I'll say to him, like, dad, the attention is gonna be on you—try to just keep it cool," she said, before admitting that her dad sometimes just "does things" that she finds embarrassing.

She then brought up the former prez's most recent funny moments, which took place at the memorial service for former president Jimmy Carter last week.
Bush Hager, 43, was talking about the now-viral clip of Bush, 78, greeting former president Barack Obama during the service with a swift tap on the belly, a gesture that many users online found highly amusing, especially for a former president.
"He gave a little man tap!" Bush Hager lamented, while Henson, 54, chimed in to say that the casual gesture is a "testament" to Bush's relationship with Obama.
But aside from sometimes feeling a healthy level of parental embarrassment, Bush Hager also told Henson how much she "loved" growing up with her dad.
He was present. He was paying attention to us," she said. "And he made us feel like we could do anything."
