High school sports results (Tuesday-Wednesday): University girls basketball remains undefeated; Greeley Central basketball wins rivalry games

Boys basketball

The Pinnacle 76, Valley 46: The Vikings lost a road game that drops them to 2-7.

Bennett 62, Weld Central 33: The Rebels lost a home game that drops them to 1-7.

    Windsor Charter Academy 59, Wray 35: The Firebirds defended their homecourt to remain undefeated (11-0, 1-0). Windsor Charter sophomore Dayton Long led the team with 26 points.

    Rocky Mountain 87, Greeley West 29: The Spartans lost a home game that drops them to 1-9, 0-3.

    Resurrection Christian 92, Frontier Academy 33: The Cougars defended their homecourt keeping them undefeated (8-0, 1-0). Frontier drops to 8-4, 1-1. Sophomore Jackson Belt led the Wolverines with 9 points.

    Greeley Central 62, Northridge 49: The Wildcats got the home win over their cross-town rivals and improved to 3-7, 1-4. Northridge drops to 3-7, 1-4. Junior Es Sylvere led Northridge with 19 points.

    Estes Park 41, Dayspring Christian Academy 29: The home loss drops the Eagles to 2-6, 1-2.

    Severance 62, Roosevelt 44: The Silver Knights defended their homecourt against the Rough Riders and improved to 7-5, 4-1. Roosevelt drops to 7-5, 3-2. Severance junior Damarii Wright led the team with 16 points. Roosevelt junior Jack Cook had a game-high 18 points.

    Fort Lupton 83, Prospect Ridge Academy 82: In a thrilling one-point road win, the Blue Devils improve to 6-4.

    Highland 53, Liberty Common 44: The Huskies went on the road undefeated and came back home the same way. The win improves Highland to 10-0, 1-0. Junior Dom Huntington led the Huskies with 16 points.

    Windsor 64, Fossil Ridge 57: The Wizards improve to 10-3, 2-0 thanks to the home win. Windsor junior Madden Smiley scored a game-high 23 points.

    Timnath 49, University 45: The Cubs improve to 6-4, 3-1 with the home win over the Bulldogs. University drops to 6-3. University senior Gage Schminke led the team with 11 points.

    Flatirons Academy 93, Union Colony 54: The Timberwolves left Westminster with a loss that drops them to 6-3, 2-1. Union Colony junior Tanner Sarchet led the team with 15 points.

    Girls basketball

    Dayspring Christian Academy 57, Estes Park 20: The home win improves the Eagles to 3-6, 1-2.

    Wray 45, Windsor Charter Academy 22: The Firebirds’ five-game winning streak was snapped in a home loss. The loss drops them to 7-3, 0-1.

    Flatirons Academy 68, Union Colony 13: The road loss drops Union Colony to 5-2, 2-1.

    Rocky Mountain 82, Greeley West 26: The home loss drops the Spartans to 2-8, 0-3. Greeley West freshman Nataly Maestas led the team with 13 points.

    Fort Lupton 50, Prospect Ridge Academy 43: The home win improves the Blue Devils to 3-7. Fort Lupton junior Marley Gomez led the team with 18 points.

    Greeley Central 45, Northridge 35: The Wildcats improve to 5-4, 2-3 with the home win over their rivals. Northridge drops to 4-6, 1-4. Greeley Central senior Madison Sepeda led the team with 15 points. Northridge senior Bailey McGreen led the team with 14 points.

    Roosevelt 86, Severance 54: The road win for the Rough Riders improves them to 8-2, 4-0. Severance drops to 3-8, 1-4.

    Highland 47, Liberty Common 19: The home win improves the Huskies to 5-5, 1-0.

    Valley 62, the Pinnacle 7: Vikings’ senior Alivia Lawing scored a game-high 21 points.

    Resurrection Christian 91, Frontier Academy 25: The Cougars remain undefeated after the road victory (10-0, 1-0). Cougars’ senior Callie Gillespie led the team with 24 points. Frontier Academy drops to 3-9, 0-2.

    Windsor 55, Fossil Ridge 49: The Wizards improve to 7-4, 2-0 with the home win.
