Dave Grohl is lending a helping hand to those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
The Foo Fighters frontman was spotted getting hands-on with Feed The Streets Los Angeles this week while helping to serve up food for families displaced by the ongoing fires—and to make it even sweeter, it was his birthday.

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the same day Grohl turned 56, he was spotted in social media footage posted by the nonprofit organization Feed The Streets, which has been stepping up to help provide meals to victims, firefighters and others working on the front lines during the LA fires.
Grohl, a longtime volunteer with the organization, could be seen in the Instagram clip mixing up a giant vat of chili. Meanwhile, another video showed him pushing a cart of food to help distribute dinner.

After fans online saw the clips of Grohl doing his part to help out—especially on his birthday—many were instantly reminded that the rocker is a "good human" at heart.
"That’s why I love this guy. Very humble and kind ❤️," one user wrote on Instagram, while someone else added, "There goes my hero ??."
The praise for Grohl comes in the wake of a tumultuous several months for the musician, who admitted in September 2024 that he had been unfaithful to his wife, Jordyn Blum, and fathered a child with another woman.
Despite the public criticism Grohl has received lately, many fans focused on the positive as he showed up to help those affected by the devastating fires.
"He is not perfect but No one is ?," one supportive fan wrote, while another said the generous gesture was "very Grohl to do."
That same user added, "Anyone helping doesn’t deserve to be critiqued. So just keep it positive. Way to go, Dave!"
