Candace Cameron Bure is shutting down the naysayers criticizing her charitable efforts in the wake of the Los Angeles-area fires—some of which are still burning.

"I really respect you and love the help you’re doing for the community," one follower began. "However, when I heard you ask for donations of moisturizer and makeup I couldn’t believe it," they continued, calling the beauty products "the least important thing in a crisis like this."
Cameron Bure took the time to acknowledge the concern, pointing out that she had previously responded to it in her Instagram Stories, too.

"Don’t be so judgemental as to what other people need in times of crisis," she added. "Be kind."
While Cameron Bure no longer lives in Los Angeles, she was born there and lived in the area for many years.
"Our sweet Palisades is destroyed," she mourned after the fires started last week. "So many memories."
