AUSTIN (KXAN) — Crossroads Utility Services, which services Cottonwood Creek MUD No. 1 in Manor, said a 24-inch transmission line valve break was impacting service to the neighborhood.
According to the utility, crews have been working on repairs since 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, and there has been no update on when the repairs could be completed.
Low to no water is expected during the repair process, according to Crossroads.
Cottonwood Creek MUD 1 customers were instructed to boil all water prior to consumption. The utility said the reports of no water in Cottonwood Creek MUD 1 were related to the repairs, and water should still be boiled after water pressure is restored.
As of 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, the utility said repairs were still underway.
“Operators are working diligently to restore service to homes,” Crossroads said.
