Australian surfer Jamie Mitchell was lucky to swim away unharmed as he suffered a spectacular wipeout at the Big Wave Championships at Pe'ahi on Maui, Hawaii – a surf spot notoriously knows as ‘Jaws’. Competing in the heats and with waves reaching in excess of 30ft, Mitchell found himself at the top of a massive barrel.
