The local chapter of an LGBTQ+ organization is seeking applicants for a pair of scholarships.
PFLAG Greeley has two scholarships — $1,000 each — available for Greeley high school seniors who plan on attending college next year, according to a PFLAG email. The deadline to apply is March 7.
To qualify, according to the email, a student must:
• Be a high school senior graduating this spring.
• Identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer.
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty.
• Show determination and potential to achieve goals.
• Participate in school and/or community activities.
