Sacramento police arrested a woman after a car chase and almost hour-long standoff early Saturday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., police tried to stop a driver near West El Camino Avenue and Millcreek Drive.
The driver refused to pull over and instead led officers on a car chase. Police said the pursuit ended in a field near Bayou Way, but a standoff ensued for about 50 minutes as the driver would not leave her car.
Sacramento officers used less-lethal munitions and arrested the woman, police said.
She was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons, police said. She will booked into the jail on charges in connection to the chase and standoff.
