Jeremiyah Love helped carry Notre Dame to victory over Penn State in the Orange Bowl, and he’s enjoying his opportunity as the victor to take a jab at the loser.
After Thursday night’s thrilling College Football Playoff semifinal, Love spoke to the media. He took a notable jab at Penn State’s mascot when making a dogs and cats comparison.
“We went out and played like the dogs that we are. We ain’t no little dogs, we’re big dogs,” Love said after the game. “They was the little dogs today. Little cats. Whatever you want to call them.”

Though Penn State won the rushing battle, Love was key as the Irish’s leading rusher with 11 carries for 45 yards and 1 touchdown.
We’ll see what kind of talking Love is doing after the College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 20.
