High school sports results (Tuesday-Wednesday): Highland and Windsor Charter Academy boys’ basketball remain undefeated

TUESDAY

Boys basketball

Roosevelt 59, Greeley Central 53: The Rough Riders came away close win in Greeley. Roosevelt senior Nolan Peterson scored 21 points for the Rough Riders (7-3, 3-0). Greeley Central falls to 1-6, 0-3.

Northridge 62, Wellington 44: The Grizzlies improves to 2-6, 1-3. Wellington is still looking for its first win of the season.

    Highland 77, Stargate School 67: The Huskies remain undefeated this season (8-0). Senior Sawyer Morgan scored 21 points, and junior Brogan Palmer had a team-high 23-points.

    Windsor Charter Academy 88, Prospect Ridge Academy 87: The Firebirds used a 22-point fourth quarter to barely keep their undefeated season alive (9-0). Firebirds’ senior Kellen Ball had a team-high 25-points.

    Valley 62, Brush 57: Vikings’ senior Daniel Guerrero led the team with 20-points. Valley improves to 2-6.

    Resurrection Christian 79, Fort Lupton 52: Senior Ty Yoder led the Cougars with 24-points. Fort Lupton sits at 5-4.

    Timnath 50, Severance 44: Freshman Christian Powell led Severance with 11-points. The Silver Knights fall to 5-5, 2-1. The Cubs improve to 4-4, 2-1.

    Poudre 61, Greeley West 37: The Spartans fall to 1-6, 0-1.

    Girls basketball

    Eaton 58, Platte Valley 36: The Reds were led by sophomore Courtney Steinkamp who had a game-high 25-points. Eaton improves to 4-4. Platte Valley falls to 6-2.

    Resurrection Christian 84, Fort Lupton 26: Resurrection Chrsitian senior Olivia Klein had a game-high 31-points.

    Poudre 65, Greeley West 32: The Spartans fall to 2-5, 0-1.

    Northridge 68, Wellington 41: Northridge sophomore Sophia Carbajal scored 28-points. Northridge improves to 3-5, 1-3.

    Highland 56, Stargate School 23: The Huskies improve to 4-4.

    Windsor Charter Academy 57, Prospect Ridge Academy 26: The Firebirds improve to 7-2.

    Timnath 42, Severance 40: Severance sophomore Zoey Smith led the team with 12-points. The Silver Knights fall to 3-6, 1-2. The Cubs improve to 8-1, 3-0.

    Heritage Christian 62, Dayspring Christian Academy 25: The Eagles fall to 1-6, 0-1.

    Roosevelt 63, Greeley Central 28: Ryanne Bahnsen-Price led Roosevelt with 20-points. Greeley Central senior Madison Sepeda led the Wildcats with 10-points. Greeley Central falls to 3-4, 0-3. Roosevelt improves 6-1, 2-0.

    University 51, Lutheran 39: Allizzey Madrigal and Janay Kravig each scored 13-points for University. The Bulldogs remain undefeated (9-0).

    Girls swimming and diving

    Greeley West placed second at a tri-meet with Fossil Ridge and Poudre.

    WEDNESDAY

    Boys basketball

    Resurrection Christian 60, Berthoud 36: The Cougars remain undefeated (6-0).

    Frontier Academy 56, Fort Morgan 51: Sophomore Owen Steward led Frontier with 22-points. Frontier improves to 7-3.

    Union Colony 54, Dawson School 50: The Timberwolves improve to 5-2.

    Girls Basketball

    Resurrection Christian 57, Berthoud 40: The Cougars were again led by Klein who had a game-high 28-points. The Cougars remain undefeated (8-0).

    Conifer 48, Fort Lupton 34: Junior Marley Gomez led the Blue Devils with 12-points. The Blue Devils fall to 1-7.

    Brush 37, Valley 30: Valley senior Alivia Lawing led the team with 12-points. VHS falls to 5-3.

    Union Colony 67, Dawson School 19: Junior Soliana Gebremeskel scored a game-high 49 points for Union Colony. The Timberwolves improve to 4-1, 1-0.

    Weld Central 43, Eagle Ridge Academy 39: Weld Central improves to 3-4.

    Fort Morgan 51, Frontier Academy 32: Frontier falls to 3-7.

    WEDNESDAY

    Boys wrestling

    Windsor 60, Mead 10.
