A fire broke out near Sunswept Drive and Vanetta Drive in Studio City just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, burning multiple homes, broadcast reports said.
Multiple helicopters attacked the fire, called the Sunswept fire. NBC4 reported one of the homes in the area collapsed from the flames.
Sunswept Drive and Vanetta Drive is a residential area of Los Angeles in the hills above Ventura Boulevard.
The fire is unrelated to the larger Sunset fire, NBC4 reported. The fires broke out in windy, dry conditions.
