Arkansas added to its portal haul on Tuesday by landing former Auburn defensive back Caleb Wooden. The Razorbacks announced his signing on Tuesday. He’s the latest in what is becoming a massive portal class for Arkansas.
Wooden, a 6-foot-1, 192-pound junior, finished out the 2024 season with a total of 17 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 interception, and 2 pass breakups. Of the 10 games he saw action in, Wooden started 6 of them. During his 3 seasons with the Tigers, the safety racked up 41 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, 1 sack, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 4 passes defended.
Coming out of Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Wooden was originally a 3-star recruit. In the industry-generated 247 Composite, he was ranked as the No. 70 safety in his class and the No. 89 overall prospect from the state of Georgia in the 2022 cycle.

He’ll hope this marks a helpful change of scenery for him after the Razorbacks finished out the season with a 7-6 overall record.
Wooden becomes the 19th known transfer to join the Razorbacks this winter. He’s the fourth defensive back transfer the Razorbacks have taken this cycle.
