SHERIFF’S REPORTS
The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:
DUI: Michael A. Alpers, 56, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Dec. 30 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol.
DRUG SALES: Paul N. Hernandez, 49, of Los Angeles County, was booked at county jail Dec. 30 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, using a false compartment, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and possession of both drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. He was arrested by the CHP.
ARSON: Luke J. Deramo, 28, of Cloverdale, was booked at county jail Dec. 31 on suspicion of arson and failure to appear. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DUI: John J. Kearney, 38, of Florida, was booked at county jail Dec. 31 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.
ELDER ABUSE: Jacob J. Neuer, 21, of Willits, was booked at county jail Dec. 31 on suspicion of abuse of an elder/dependent adult, preventing/dissuading a witness and of felony vandalism. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DUI: Sean F. Sanchez, 39, of Upper Lake, was booked at county jail Dec. 31 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.
DUI: Jason B. Tidd, 46, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail Dec. 31 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.
DUI: Victor M. Fernandez, 30, of Santa Rosa, was booked at county jail Jan. 1 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Donald H. Gonzalez Jr., 58, of Santa Rosa, was booked at county jail Jan. 1 on suspicion of domestic violence and violating a court order. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Samantha N. Mendez, 26, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 1 on suspicion of domestic violence, resisting and violating her probation. She was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.
BURGLARY: Joseph M. Andersen, 37, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 2 on suspicion of burglary, possessing burglary tools, and possessing both a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested by the MCSO.
ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF FIREARM AND AMMUNITION: Kenneth M. Douglas, 41, of Willits, was booked at county jail Jan. 2 on suspicion of illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition, of carrying a loaded concealed weapon, resisting and failure to appear. He was arrested by the UPD.
BATTERY: Thomas L. Hidalgo, 22, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 2 on suspicion of battery. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DUI: Adalberto Tinajero, 19, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 2 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was arrested by the CHP.
BURGLARY: Aaron S. Oresco, 39, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 3 on suspicion of burglary. He was arrested by the UPD.
DUI: Alfonso Orozco, 44, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 3 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.
DUI: Nicholas J. Tambouras, 53, of Willits, was booked at county jail Jan. 3 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the CHP.
DUI: Alexis E. Arreguin, 23, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail Jan. 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting. He was arrested by the CHP.
DRUG SALES: Selene R. Gonzalez, 29, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 4 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale and using a false compartment. She was arrested by the UPD.
DUI: Loren L. Lincoln, 39, of Covelo, was booked at county jail Jan. 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the UPD.
DUI: Eric C. Seale, 49, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail Jan. 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, violating his probation and shoplifting. He was arrested by the FBPD.
ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF FIREARM AND AMMUNITION: Donovan T. Williams, 46, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan. 4 on suspicion of illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition and violating his parole. He was arrested by the MCSO.
Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper.
