FORGET Christmas – now it’s all about Valentine’s Day.
And if you’re keen to get prepped for the romantic holiday, look no further than your local White Castle.
As the restaurant chain is once again offering a Valentine’s Day Dinner on February 14, from 4 to 9pm.
The annual event is tradition for White Castle, which began back in 1991, and offers loved-up couples the chance to mark the occasion without breaking the budget
The holiday will see 300 participating White Castle restaurants transformed into ‘Love Castles’ – billed as a ‘fine dining establishment’.
Unlike ordinary visits to the eatery, guests will be treated to hostess seating and tableside services – while the restaurants themselves will be decked out with festive decorations.
“Everyone can enjoy love at White Castle, where we always offer hot and tasty craveable food, great value and memorable moments — without the inflated price tag,” Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle, said.
“Our Castles go all out to make Valentine’s Day dinner extra special, adding a little extra love to everything we serve.
“We’re the perfect place for celebrating love with friends, families and significant others.”
Deals on offer in the Love Castles include $5 for a Sloppy Joe Combo – two Sloppy Joe Sliders (their signature dish), a small French fries and a small soft drink.
Or you can pay $6.99 for a Sloppy Joe Six Pack – a combination of six Sloppy Joe Sliders.
And if you join Craver Nation Rewards – White Castle’s free customer loyalty program – you can get access to more discounts and deals too.
These include a BOGO free dessert on a stick on February 14 and a $5 Sloppy Joe Combo upgrade – any two Sloppy Joe Sliders, small Mac & Cheese Nibblers and medium soft drink.
The latter deal is running until February 16.
Other longer-running deals as part of Crave Nation Rewards include BOGO French Toast Sliders – from now until April 14 – and BOGO Breakfast Sliders from February 1 to 28.

White Castle's rise to popularity
White Castle has become an American fast food staple since launching its first restaurant more than a century ago.
The company was founded by Billy Ingram on September 13, 1921, in Wichita, Kansas.
Ingram began the family-owned business with $700, per White Castle’s website.
He sold his small, square hamburgers for only five cents.
They were so easy to eat that they were named Sliders and sold by the sack.
In 1934, the company moved its headquarters to Columbus, Ohio.
In 2014, Time Magazine declared White Castle’s Original Slider the most influential burger of all time.
The chain now operates nearly 350 locations across 13 states, mainly in the Midwest and the New York metropolitan area.
White Castle is famous for its Sliders, but its menu also includes items like fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks.
It also serves breakfast, drinks, and desserts.
Plus, if you order in White Castle on Valentine’s Day, you’ll earn a BOGO Free Combo reward.
