Luke Littler leads a star-studded line-up for the 2025 Premier League which also features Luke Humphries and Michael Van Gerwen.
Littler won the competition after last year’s long campaign in his debut year, beating Luke Humphries in the final to pocket the £275,000 prize money.
He will be defending that crown in 2025 across the 17-week extravaganza, as the road to the play-offs at London’s O2 Arena on May 29 begins.
‘The Nuke’ will look to defend the prize money on the PDC Order Of Merit, going into the contest as a world champion after his victory over Michael Van Gerwen in last week’s final.
Joining Littler in this year’s line up is world No.1 Luke Humphries, who will look to go one better than in 2024 and dethrone Littler.
‘Cool Hand’ suffered a shock exit at the World Championship against Peter Wright, but will hope to resurrect his form in the competition.
Darts icon Van Gerwen is ranked third and joins the line-up alongside recent world final nemesis Littler.
Former world champion Rob Cross locks out the top four, with all of these players qualifying due to their position in the top for of the PDC Order Of Merit.
Leading the wildcard picks, fan favourite Stephen Bunting makes his second appearance in the competition, his first since coming 8th in 2015.
Bunting reached the World Championship semi-finals losing to Littler, but has shot into stardom with his ‘Bunting Mental’ army roaring him on.
2023 runner-up Gerwyn Price returns after a successful run to the quarter finals at the latest World Championship.
It has been a difficult year for the ‘Ice Man’ who took a break from the sport, but remains a high-profile figure on the PDC tour and a true entertainer.
Bunting has earned his spot after a solid yearGettyChris Dobey makes his second appearance in the competition for the first time since 2023, with ‘Hollywood’ earning his spot after a fantastic year.
And finally concluding the line-up, hugely popular Nathan Aspinall makes the cut.
‘The Asp’ is fresh off the back of a run to the quarter finals himself, and has beaten a whole host of leading names to the spot.
Some notable big names miss out including Johnny Clayton, Damon Heta and Dave Chisnall who were all inside the top ten of the rankings.
Peter Wright misses out after a difficult year, despite putting together a decent run at the World Championship including the elimination of Luke Humphries.
Michael Smith dropped to 16th on the PDC Order Of Merit and has dropped out of the line-up having been seriously out of form.
