The India cricket team’s tour of Australia has officially come to an end. With the Sydney Test ending in under 14 sessions (two and a half days), most of Team India’s squad will leave as early as possible. Originally, the last match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 was to end on December 7, but since it ended prematurely, by the end of today (December 6), many players will board their flights home from Sydney.
It is believed that some of the senior members have either already left or will leave later today. It’s safe to assume that those who won’t leave today, will departure for India tomorrow. “The logistics manager is working it out for the team and as and when the tickets are available, the departures will begin,” a source told the Times of India.
Rohit Sharma leaves Sydney for India
RevSportz journalist Rohit Juglan made a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) claiming that the captain of Team India, Rohit Sharma, has already left and that most of the players will leave today itself.
