Best Buy replied to the complaint on X.

    THE ISSUE

It began with a troubled order for a TV from the store.

X user Winston said on New Year’s Day that the company cancelled a Black Friday order.

It’s not clear why he had not yet received an order that was apparently placed over a month ago.

Winston claimed the company cancelled to make him buy a non-discounted TV.

“BB canceled my order bought on black friday, so I can go back and buy another TV at full price,” he said.

He added that he would get a refund for his discounted TV in 15 days.

“Thank you best buy,” he said. “Hope you go bankrupt soon!”

    THE RESPONSE

A Best Buy customer service employee named Ezra replied to the X post.

“We would like to see if we can assist in any way,” he said, asking for a DM with more details.

It seems Winston may not have replied, as the next day, Ezra sent another X post.

“Just a heads up I will be leaving the office now,” he said, adding that he would be back in a couple of days.

“You will not receive a message after this message, please feel free to reach out to when I return to the office on Tuesday if you still need assistance,” he added.

It’s still unclear if Winston ever reached out.
