Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen are facing off in a seismic World Darts Championship final on Friday evening.
Millions are expected to tune in, potentially topping the record-breaking 4.8m viewers from the 2024 event, when Littler was beaten by Luke Humphries.
Still just 17, Littler beat Stephen Bunting 6-1 in the semi-final on Thursday after Van Gerwen breezed past Chris Dobey by the same scoreline.

Luke Littler is creating something far bigger than darts
Read MoreThe first thing to understand here is that the World Championship is relatively rare in darts, in that it is decided by set play rather than individual legs.
Sets are made up of three legs each, with a leg being the first player to get from 501 to 0.
The matches throughout the tournament get progressively longer, with the first and second-round games first to three sets, while the semi-finals are first to six.
But the final is the longest match in darts – first to seven sets.
As per the PDC broadcast deal, fans can watch the final live exclusively on Sky Sports and NOW.
Coverage begin from 7.30pm on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Darts, with the match itself expected to start at 8pm, and could run for more than two-and-a-half hours if it goes all the way.
The last 7-6 final was 2015, when Gary Anderson beat Phil Taylor, but only one of the last 16 finals has lasted fewer than 10 sets, so this is unlikely to be a whitewash.
What you need to know ahead of Luke Littler vs Michael van Gerwen
If you haven’t followed darts since Littler was last in a World Championship final, or ever before, there’s a lot to catch you up on.
The deals, drives and dollars that changed Luke Littler's life
Read MoreIn short, since turning 17 last January, Littler has taken over the darting world.
He has won £1.1m in prize money – not including the current tournament – alongside 10 trophies, three of which are considered “majors”.
Having been selected for the eight-player, 17-week Premier League, there were concerns the pressure would be too great on him, but he won the whole event.
Littler made appearances on The Jonathan Ross Show alongside Millie Bobby Brown and Raye, starred in the reboot of Bullseye and was named BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.
He is now the face of a sport on the rapid rise, while Van Gerwen is the most decorated active player. The 35-year-old Dutchman was once a prodigy in his own right and has since won three world titles and at least three of every major trophy.
This will be his seventh world final, with his last coming in 2023, when he was beaten by Michael Smith.
This is also a battle to secure the No 2 spot in the world rankings – decided by prize money won over the past two years – but both are still some way behind No 1 Humphries.
How much will the winner earn?
This final is the biggest payday in darts, with £500,000 for the winner and £200,000 for the runner-up.
The total prize money for each World Championship since 2019 has been £2.5m, although there has been discussion of doubling the current figure so the world champion gets a nice round £1m.
