Arsenal head into an important January transfer window as they look to keep pace with Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The Gunners also face a vital summer after that, with the club keen to kick on under Mikel Arteta.

Defenders
Ben White
One of Arsenal’s most consistent performers and among the best right-backs in the Premier League. Provides cover at centre-back, too. KEEP
Gabriel
Formed a strong partnership with William Saliba and a real threat from set-pieces in attack. Deserves a new contract to underline his importance to Arsenal. KEEP

Has just six months left on his contract. Doesn’t fit the way Arsenal play and has struggled for fitness. Needs a fresh start. SELL

Broke into the first-team squad this year and shown what all the fuss is about. Only 18, but has transitioned from midfield to left-back with ease. KEEP

Martin Odegaard
Arsenal’s captain and creative heartbeat. How vital the Norwegian is to the team was shown earlier this season when he was out injured. KEEP

Had a mixed start after joining in the summer, with a lack of pre-season and injuries impacting him. Needs more time to settle. KEEP
Thomas Partey
Enjoying his best season, but has struggled with injuries before. Out of contract in the summer, when he will be 32, and Arsenal should only keep one out of him or Jorginho. SELL
Forwards
Bukayo Saka
Arsenal’s talisman and the face of the club. Another new contract surely won’t be far away given his numbers this season. KEEP

Kai Havertz
Reborn in 2024 after being moved upfront. Even if Arsenal sign a new striker, they should keep the German as competition and cover. KEEP
Leandro Trossard
Proved to be an excellent signing after joining in January 2023. Can play anywhere across the forward line, which makes him valuable. KEEP
Raheem Sterling
