Well, it wasn’t as ugly as it could’ve been.

The San Francisco 49ers fell to the Detroit Lions in an NFC championship game rematch that ultimately didn’t matter for either team. San Francisco was out of the playoff race and the Lions are playing for the No. 1 seed in Week 18 no matter what.

    Alas, the 49ers put up a strong offensive effort on top of their worst defensive effort of the season.
