PHILADELPHIA Eagles fans are rubbing their division win in Jerry Jones’ face.
The Eagles clinched a spot in the playoffs by winning the NFC East on Sunday.
The Eagles clinched the division against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys were already eliminated from the NFL playoffs, but had a chance to worsen the Eagles’ path in the playoffs.
They weren’t able to though, and got crushed 41-7 in the game.
“We knew it was going to be a different game with the plan this week,” Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said.
“To be honest with you, we didn’t really get to some of the things we’d hope to get to.”
Eagles fans appeared to enjoy clinching versus the Cowboys, and quickly went to mock Jones.
Jones made a radio appearance on Sunday and shared that fans have been heckling him about the team.
“Keep doing the job you’re doing this year,” a fan told Jones.
NFL fans got a good laugh out of Jones getting made fun of and shared on social media.
“No way this dude didn’t understand that was sarcasm,” one fan said.
“That eagles fan is having a good laugh with the buddies right now,” another fan said.
“What did they do in the off season to improve that team? Nothing,” a third fan said.
“What a troll. And Jerry took the bait, I’m sure,” a fourth fan said.
“Sounds exactly like an Eagles fan!” a fifth fan said.
With the loss, the Cowboys fell to 7-9 on the season.

They currently own the No. 13 pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
Dallas is expected to draft a running back with their pick, and Heisman runner up Ashton Jeanty will likely be available for them.
With a healthy Dak Prescott and a dangerous running back, the Cowboys could be dangerous again in 2025.
It is possible that the Cowboys could have a new head coach in 2025 as well.
McCarthy’s contract is coming to an end this year, and Jones may not choose to extend him.
