The Ukiah Daily Journal’s 38th Annual Holiday Food Bank Fund Drive to help support Ukiah’s Food Bank will continue through the end of the year.
Each year we host this drive to keep the Food Bank open, the lights on, the refrigerators running and the van on the road. The Food Bank is one of Ukiah’s critical local community services. It helps feed people in need and on fixed incomes, who otherwise might not have enough money to put food on the table – people like our local seniors, veterans, disabled and working families.
We have always been grateful for the generosity of this community during our annual drive. We were again hoping to raise $100,000 for the Food Bank Fund, a goal which has now been exceeded. Every dollar raised is appreciated, and, as we do each year, we will continue the fund drive through the end of the year.
