But after going their separate ways in 2022, Grimes has now made a blunt clarification about how exactly their relationship fell apart.
Grimes, 36, spilled the tea on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Dec. 26, during a social media feud with 33-year-old rapper and singer Azealia Banks.
In Banks' heated post, she accused Grimes of being "dumped" and "cheated on" by Musk, 53. She also made the claim that Grimes' kids with the Tesla CEO were "kidnapped."
Grimes replied to the message to clarify, "I didn’t 'get dumped'. I bounced. My amazing baby is asleep in my bed beside me, I’m in love. no regrets. Life is as beautiful as u want it to be."
She went on to tell Banks, "Ur insanely talented. Even after all this, I want u to win. God bless Mlady."
