Second-year defensive back Chamarri Conner has developed into a solid contributor in Steve Spagnuolo’s defense but has been held out of practice since sustaining a concussion in the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 15 win over the Cleveland Browns.

On Tuesday, the Chiefs officially ruled Conner out for their Week 17 matchup against the Steelers. Though he won’t play on Christmas Day, Conner may be able to return for Kansas City’s Week 18 tilt against the Denver Broncos on January 5.
