CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in south Charlotte Tuesday evening.
Officials say it happened in the 7500 block of Stonecroft Park Drive.
Medic says they also transported a person from that location to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police did not give details on how many people were involved or how this incident happened.
Colony Road from Wakehurst Road to Lee Rae Road is closed. Police ask drivers to avoid the area if possible.
