Fox makes major NFL broadcast change with Michael Strahan and Terry Bradshaw facing double duty with rare TV slot

FOX NFL Sunday hosts are lined up for double duty this weekend with extra football action.

The NFL is playing games on Saturday as the end of the season is approaching, and those on the Fox NFL Sunday desk will need to adjust.

    On Saturday, Fox is hosting the matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.

    That game is kicking off at 4:30 pm ET.

    As they do for other special broadcasts like Thanksgiving, Fox will host a special pregame version of Fox NFL Sunday.

    Michael Strahan and Terry Bradshaw will face double duty as they work NFL games on Saturday and Sunday this week.

    NBC is in the same boat, as they are hosting the earlier matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans on Saturday.

    That game kicks off at 1:00 pm ET.

    NBC will be hosting a special version of Football Night in America for its Saturday game.

    That pregame show will start at noon on Saturday.

    On top of the two NFL games, there are also three College Football Playoff games being aired on Saturday.

    SMU is playing Penn State, Clemson is playing Texas, and Tennessee is playing Ohio State.

    Some fans are calling the special Saturday the “Football Solstice.”

    With five football games being played on Saturday, the schedule looks like this:

    Noon – SMU at Penn State 1:00 pm – Texans at Chiefs 4:00 pm – Clemson at Texas 4:30 pm – Steelers at Ravens 8:00 pm – Tennessee at Ohio State

    Football fans shared their overwhelming excitement over this schedule on social media.

    “Football Solstice. Need new batteries for all my remotes,” a third fan said.

    “I always prayed for times like these!” a fourth fan said.

    “Definitely not leaving the house,” a fifth fan said.

    There will probably be two football games on at all times throughout the day on Saturday.
