The Today crew recently had a joyous holiday celebration, but one star of the broadcast, Al Roker, was missing from the group—and fans immediately noticed.
In a new photo taken from a restaurant and shared via Instagram on Monday, Dec. 16, Roker was absent from the festivities, prompting viewers of the show to wonder where he was during the event.

The 70-year-old—who has been a mainstay on the program for nearly three decades—didn't appear alongside his jolly crew of costars, which included Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones, Carson Daly, Willie Geist, Dylan Dreyer, Peter Alexander and Laura Jarrett.
In the snapshot, the group of ten gathered for the outing outside their usual work setting, instead, enjoying an afternoon at Smith & Mills Rockefeller Center in NYC for drinks and food.
"No one loves a 2pm holiday party as much as this crew - thank you @smithandmills for the fun afternoon! ?," Jarrett captioned her social media upload.

Fans in the comments section, though, were largely concerned with why the weather forecaster wasn't included in the photo, with several asking questions regarding his whereabouts.
